Let me start by saying, I literally LOVE that you love my work. ( I love it too)
But after 6 wedding seasons, I know my photos aren't the only reason couples book with me. Having an absolute fire vendor team whose personalities actually mesh with yours makes all the difference on your wedding day.
SO now that we're friends...
Here is what you need to know about me: I live on the Southside of Chicago with my husband, Jack, our 2-year-old, Emma, our baby boy, Dean, and our 9-year-old puppy, Riggs. Your inquiries quite literally find me covered in mac and cheese or ketchup, wearing a plastic princess crown, sitting at a tiny toddler table.
If you need to find me outside of mom life, try the pit at the nearest Jonas Brothers tour stop, on my couch watching trashy reality tv, stretch and folding my sourdough, dreaming up my next Disney trip (bonus fact, I used to play Snow White at Walt Disney World in Orlando!), or at a local thrift store. And fair warning: I am 100% guaranteed to ask for your getting-ready playlist if it includes Kelsea Ballerini, Fleetwood Mac, Hilary Duff, 2016 frat-house bangers, or anything off The Princess Diaries or The Parent Trap soundtracks.
My current songs on repeat are "Babydoll" by Jamie Miller and "Baby blue" by Cody Simpson. I'm big on a "driving-around-in-the-car-with-the-top-down-putting-on-your-lip-gloss-loving-life" kind of tune.

My wedding day approach...
Your wedding is not a photoshoot (oops I said it)
When it comes to weddings, my biggest goal is truly just to capture you and your person having the best day ever with your people. It's honestly as simple as that. I have an approach to shooting weddings that falls somewhere between being a fly on the wall, directing when necessary (usually only to make sure I'm catching you in your best light), and giving your prompts or poses that fit our vibe as a couple (and make your Pinterest board wedding photo dreams come true)
I get the shots you want without making you spend your entire wedding day performing for the sake of the photo.
Some of the moments on a wedding day that I'm an absolute SUCKER for:
- a slow, intentional morning getting ready with your besties
- florals and seeing the details you spent curating over the course of 1+ years
- the way you look at eachother with big 'ol heart eyes all day
- your groom playing with his ring
- parent dances (so cheesy but now that I'm a mom I literally sob during every parent dance)
- scream singing (specifically "Dancing Queen" or anything Taylor Swift) on the dance floor
I will...
- fix your veil
- tell you when your lipstick needs fixing
- make sure you're where you're supposed to be
- pull you out of an awkward pose
- cry during your parent dance
- dance at your reception
- sing along on the trolley ride (and reluctantly turn down your High Noon offers because I'm on the clock, duh)
- tell you when the light is really, really good
Basically, I will pay attention to everything so you don't have to.
